• Sibling Discount
- 10% off for the first (younger) sibling of the tuition fee.
- 15% off for additional (younger) siblings of the tuition fee.

• Returnee Discount
- Registration fees (77,000yen) shall be waived for students who return to UIA after more than one year and within three years of the date of withdrawal.

1. Management of UIA International School of Tokyo reserves all rights to initiate consequences if the fee is not paid in full on or before the due date. Defaulting in fee payments at any two occasions during the academic year may result in the child being suspended from attending school or in severe cases may result in the child’s name being struck off the rolls. In the event of this situation, the child may be considered for re-admission for which all of the one-time charges or fees will be applicable.

2. No deduction in fee shall be granted for vacation(s), periodical breaks or for holidays not in control of the school management which may include natural disaster/calamity/epidemic/etc.

3. Printed copy of receipts is issued on request to accounts@uia.jp. An issuance fee of ¥330 will be charged/applicable.

4. The school will not be responsible for the loss of cash sent through children of any age, or for payment made to any member of the staff.

5. If the fees are not paid on or before the due date of the invoice, late payment charges calculated as 0.04% per day for the outstanding amount will be added to the invoice.

6. In case the automatic bank transfer fail, please make the payment manually within 10 working days from the due date to avoid late payment charges.

7. For parents using the manual bank transfer mode of payment, please remember that the remittance fee charged by your bank will have to be borne by the parent.

All yearly fees as per the Fee Structure may be paid either in full, or in installments as agreed with the school. Please refer to the ‘Fee Payment Schedule’ document for specific details on the amounts to be paid for the respective grades under each plan.

1-time (full) Payment Plan
All of the categories of School Fee is paid in full either in the beginning of the school academic year or at the time of admission.

3-time Installment Plan
All students, by default, are registered under this plan. The school fees is paid in 3 installments on or before the following dates:

1st Installment: March 26th each year

2nd Installment: July 26th each year

3rd Installment: November 26th each year

12-time Installments Plan (monthly)

1. Application Fee – Application Fee is non-refundable.
2. Registration Fee – Registration Fee is non-refundable.
3. Building Maintenance Fee – Building Maintenance Fee is non-refundable.
4. Tuition Fee – Parent must notify the school about separation no less than 30 calendar days prior to the actual date of separation from school. The refund amount will be calculated from the 31st day of the date of exit or from the date of submission of the notice of withdrawal, whichever is later. In some cases, where parents do not inform about separation 30 days before, there may be an additional fee applicable (as per the calculation) for violating this policy.
5. Management Fee – Management Fee is non-refundable.
6. Miscellaneous Fee – Miscellaneous Fee is non-refundable.
7. Books/Supplies Fee – Books/Supplies Fee is non-refundable.
8. Uniform and School Bag – The uniform and school bag are available from our vendor, ‘Top of the Class Uniforms’ at www.schooluniform.jp. For any refunds or exchanges, please contact the vendor directly.
9. After-school activities (clubs/care) – Since this fee is paid after the use of the service, the final invoice at the time of separation will only include the fee for the sessions attended. Refund process may not be applicable.
